Angela has over 15 years of industry experience engaging with clients and technology to improve the clinical trial experience for all stakeholders. 

 

Trishna Bharadia, Patient Advocate

Trishna Bharadia is a multi-award winning health advocate and patient engagement champion. From the UK, she has worked across Europe and the world with multiple stakeholders to get the patient voice heard louder, stronger and more effectively throughout the entire healthcare journey. Her work includes health information, patient support programmes, disease awareness campaigns, improving the clinical trial experience, engaging with BME communities and development of patient-centred strategies, among many other things. She is a regular conference speaker, advisor, writer and media spokesperson. Among her accolades, she was recognised by the UK Prime Minister's Office with a Points of Light Award in 2018, for her work with patient communities.

 

Shaun Treweek, Professor, Health Services Research Unit, University of Aberdeen

Shaun is a health services researcher interested in efficient trial design, particularly around representation in trials, recruitment and retention and the effective presentation of research evidence.  He leads an initiative called Trial Forge (http://www.trialforge.org) that aims to be more systematic about how we identify, generate and use research evidence in making trial design, conduct, analysis and reporting decisions.  Trial Forge won the 2019 international Cochrane-REWARD Prize for reducing research waste.  Shaun is also an Editor-in-Chief of the journal Trials. 

 

Ben Gordon, Site Trainer, Greenphire UK

Ben Gordon is a passionate trainer who endeavours to help all users of Greenphire’s products and optimise their use of the applications. As part of the Client Experience and Education Team, Ben has a keen focus on supporting Sites users, increasing their confidence, ability and satisfaction with the software.

Although new to the Clinical Trial industry, Ben has over 15 years’ experience in developing individuals, teams and businesses through the creation and delivery of targeted training programs.
